It’s a funny business trying to get pedestrians to pocket their phones while crossing the road, so they are not distracted by them. Not so funny, is what could happen if they don't!
With a ‘Heads up. Phones down.' message, we built a fun activation around the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, involving everything from animated videos, comedic 'lolly-pop' crossing supervisors, bold street signage, an army of green ‘walking’ men, and digital extensions.
Culminating over the Easter break, it proved to be a ‘sell-out’ show. With plenty of laughs along the way, it helped convey the serious road safety message to thousands of city pedestrians.
