We were set the task of kicking a big goal for the TAC, with an activation aimed at learner drivers and their supervisors. This was to be centred around TAC Cup football games, during a designated ‘Drive 2 the Game’ round, sanctioned by AFL Victoria.
First quarter, we set up signage around the ground with messaging for parents, and at the gates we handed out free Herald Sun newspapers with a bespoke TAC Cup 'Drive to the Game', wrap-around. Second quarter, we kicked some more goals by helping the crowd score free barista coffees, and indulge in a sausage sizzle from our branded marquee. Third quarter, they got the chance to win free professional driving lessons for their learners.
And after the final siren, highlights of the events were posted on social media and digital channels, providing massive post-round PR and analysis. Final Score? A big win for learner drivers and the TAC sponsorship.
